Since the only Spanish I speak is related to asking for the price of beer and tacos, and begging for my life during a kidnapping, I'll have to assume that the woman in the video is explaining the awesomeness of this Pac Man Christmas tree. I really don't know. She probably thinks it's some kind of UFO from some magical ghost planet, or maybe some Egyptian night club. Whatever.
And for those of you under 30, yes this is actually what video game graphics looked like in the '80s, so quit bitching when your frame rate drops below 60 fps.

Electro wii Dance Party
Yeah, I know this is like a week late, but I've been out of town since last Monday, plus I'm lazy. Also, I'm beginning to hate people so my motivation to do anything productive is waning.
Call it disillusionment with humanity if you like, but it seems every time I leave the house, I come home wishing I'd strangled at least two or three of the people I'd met that day, with the expectation that it would actually make the world a better place.
Perhaps my expectations are unrealistic. Perhaps I'm setting the bar too high. Maybe I'm just a dick.
But it's cool, because Saturday night was like a breath of fresh air. The beats were tight, the sound was good, and the people were as laid back as they were diverse. Yeah, that's my kind of crowd.
While discussing the event with a friend, I believe the question I rhetorically asked was "why can't the rest of the Valley be like this?". No inflated egos. No misplaced pride. No wannabe celebrities. Just solid talent and a genuine love for the art.
Props to the Ill-Oddeo crew and everybody who put this thing together. The music scene needs more events like this.

I. Love. Lilly Allen.
Her brash style and funky music have earned her numerous comparisons to Pink, which I kinda understand except that she's English and she wears girl clothes and I wouldn't be afraid to put my penis in Lily Allen.
She's also gotten a lot of attention as a result of her strong opinions and criticism of other celebs, but I wouldn't know anything about that since I've been busy drawing little hearts and flowers around a stick figure with a picture of Lily's head pasted to it. Its going to look great in the Lily Allen shrine I built in my bedroom closet.
Sure, call me crazy but that's what the health department said about my slow roasted "kitty on a stick", and I showed those bastards.

You've gotta love Halloween. It's the only day of the year that you can walk into a club carrying a chainsaw or a blunt edged weapon, so long as it goes with the costume. Next year I'm gonna duct tape a bunch of ice picks to a jumpsuit and say I'm a porcupine.
What's also nice is that you can take just about any occupation, add the word "sexy", and bam! You've got yourself a costume. Sexy nurse, sexy cop, sexy librarian, it's all good. This only works for girls by the way, and if I see any guys dressed up as a sexy maid, I'm just going to assume it's your coming out party.

Scorcher Freestyle Moto-X Video
We've got some amazing video of freestyle motocross riders Dustin Nowak and Kenny Bell doing stuff that would scare the crap out of normal people. And these guys make it look easy. Nowak looks more casual pulling backflips than I do watching TV on my couch. Crazy bastards.

The Scorcher!

Long haired rock bands, guys doing flips on motocross bikes, girls in bikinis, more girls in bikinis! The Scorcher's got a little bit of everything and we've got photos of all of it (except the tribute bands. I f***ing hate tribute bands).
After a few pages of photos, you may get the idea that the only reason I went to the Scorcher was to take pictures of girls in bikinis. This couldn't be further from the truth. The real reason I went to the Scorcher was...oh wait you're totally right.
